T-Mobile FWA Limitations Exposed in New Report
[Update] T-Mobile outage: service down or not working for many
T-Mobile names the 2 fiber companies it’s working with
Message-ID: <20230405082007.GA1931103@telecomdigest.us> Date: Wed, 5 Apr 2023 08:20:07 +0000 From: Bill Horne <malQRMassimilation@gmail.com> Subject: T-Mobile FWA Limitations Exposed in New Report The cable guys have insisted all along that network capacity and performance limitations make FWA a non-threat. The latest MoffettNathanson report on T-Mobile Home Internet lends support to that notion. Fixed wireless access home internet services from Verizon and T-Mobile collectively amassed over 4 million customers almost overnight, explosive growth coming as wireline broadband for cable operators came to a screeching stop. The puzzlingly consistent response from the leading U.S. MSOs has been dismissive — FWA simply doesn't have the performance or network capacity to register a competitive threat to the “10G” future, top Comcast and Charter Communications executives have said over and over again. https://www.nexttv.com/news/t-mobile-fwa-limitations-exposed-in-new-report -- (Please remove QRM for direct replies

While the issues have resolved for the most part, some are still affected. 1. https://twitter.com/campcam96/status/1643386428896817155?s=20 2. https://twitter.com/sochockylist124/status/1643380017299173376?s=20 3. https://twitter.com/GadsenBoy/status/1643374441160900608?s=20

It's 4 AM and I can't sleep, so I'm searching through the twitterverse for interesting stories. The original story was from 2020, but the updates are at the bottom.

When questioned how it was providing fiber service in New York City, Northglenn, Colorado and Pueblo, Colorado, T-Mobile today provided only the tiniest of tidbits. It said it was working with Pilot Fiber to provide service in New York, and it was working with Intrepid Fiber in Colorado. https://www.fiercewireless.com/tech/t-mobile-names-2-fiber-companies-its-working -- (Please remove QRM for direct replies)
