The carrier has since tried to fully integrate the acquired network’s customers into its fold, and after repeated postponements of the shutdown date, it finally retired Sprint's 3G and 4G networks months ago. Rising inflation costs are also impacting the IRR [internal rate of return]. Permitting and licensing continues to be a market-by-market challenge. Some, like Frontier, are recalibrating their build engine and focusing on efficiency.” https://www.lightreading.com/digital-divide/a-slew-of-service-providers-lower-2023-fiber-targets/d/d-id/783089 -- (Please remove QRM for direct replies)
