If you've received an appointment reminder from your doctor or dentist, a package delivery notification, or a school closure notification lately those messages were likely delivered to your phone using an automated calling system (robocalling). For these legitimate robocallers, TCPA compliance is a constant challenge, and one of those challenges is making sure not to call reassigned phone numbers for which the caller no longer has consent to make robocalls. Failure to meet this challenge can create significant financial risks from class action litigation or Federal Communications Commission ("FCC" or "Commission") enforcement action. https://www.commlawblog.com/2018/12/articles/cellular/legitimate-robocallers-rejoice-tcpa-compliance-is-about-to-get-slightly-easier/?utm_source=Fletcher%2C+Heald+%26+Hildreth%2C+PLC+-+CommLawBlog&utm_campaign=2cd7b9f1fe-RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_6cc65bf771-2cd7b9f1fe-71094321 -or- https://tinyurl.com/y9zehk3a Neal McLain Brazoria, Texas ------------------------------ Message-ID: <91efa453-8a29-42b7-b7e7-986b67509a2e@googlegroups.com> Date: 10 Dec 2018 12:40:12 -0800 From: HAncock4 <withheld@invalid.telecom-digest.org> Subject: 60 years ago "Extension phones help all year round, but doubly so at Christmas" 60 years ago the Bell System ran an ad in LIFE for extension phones. https://books.google.com/books?id=ZD8EAAAAMBAJ&lpg=PP1&dq=life%20dec%201%201958&pg=PA3#v=onepage&q&f=false ------------------------------ Message-ID: <88a7490c-b83e-4e73-98ce-d19d855e2958@googlegroups.com> Date: 10 Dec 2018 12:10:24 -0800 From: HAncock4 <withheld@invalid.telecom-digest.org> Subject: Re: Open Letter to 44,000 Verizon Employees On Monday, December 3, 2018 at 10:44:55 AM UTC-5, Bill Horne wrote: > By this point, you've no doubt heard that Verizon will pay you three > weeks' salary for every year of service, if you leave the company > voluntarily.
